Ever wondered what it’s like to be a whale scientist?
We've partnered with Nanaimo's Vancouver Island Whale Watch to offer an exclusive tour with researchers from Keta Coastal Conservation. You'll experience a day in the field while learning about the latest research on humpback whales in BC, including Keta’s projects. You’ll also learn about the day-to-day workings of a non-profit society, and the challenges and rewards of running an NGO. And of course, whales are included! At the end of the day, you’ll take home a copy of Keta’s latest humpback whale ID catalogue.
All proceeds are donated to Keta Coastal Conservation.
The tour departs from the Vancouver Island Whale Watch office in downtown Nanaimo at 2-70 Church st
$169 per person - All proceeds go to Keta Coastal Conservation
